After half page there is a slow and brake typing. It is impossible to work.

Ive been looking for an in-between program that doesnt take too much time to load (like Pages) but that also offers more features than the typical notepad you cannot include photos or tables in. This program is *almost* there… There are a few kinks to this program. First, text refuses to bold or italicize, and the program seems to have a preference for underlining (it would sporadically decide for me that something needed to be underlined). Second, the feature to insert contents to mail is not functioning. I was looking forward to the idea of being able to create an e-newsletter I could distribute by simply "inserting to mail", but those dreams were thwarted by the program. Notice I still gave this four stars, and I think it deserves them because I like where the program is going so much that Im going to place my faith in the developer and hope that they will address these flaws.

This review is mainly in response to @LaPanfilas excellent review. I would encourage anyone who writes a review about any app to study LaPanfilas review and try to emulate that style: 1. Be as positive about an app as you can, 2. Gently point out deficencies that support your star rating. I see far too many 1 or 2 star reviews that say nothing about what the reasons were. My own brief experience with Word Processor pro have also been pretty positive, and I echo LaPanfilas concerns (bold, italics dont work). But I too think this app has a place on everyones Mac once the odd wrinkles have been ironed out.

Wow, I have never seen an app like this before. It combines the best of iA Write with Pages. Easy and simple to use. The interface is nice and clean. I have to say that this app has potential. Excellent, works as advertised.

It seemed to work well with RTL languages, but when I saved it as Microsoft Word 2007 and uploaded it for my friend, all words was written from start to the end!

Its good and its practcle and it gets the job done. Its super easy to save in different formats so files can be shared with pc computers. However, the type on the computer is really really slow and cant keep up with me as I type. So I have to stop typing and wait for it to catch up every few words. This is very distracting. Is this maybe a bug?

I installed this app a few days ago and I agree with most of the reviewers that this is a welcome addtion to the somewhat limited number of word processing apps available for OS X. Very responsive and a very pleasant, even elegant UI. However, I am wondering if anyone out there can tell me how to change the color of the cursor from the default blue to traditional black. I have poured over the perference section but cannot seem to find anything about this issue. Perhaps I have overlooked something. Or perhaps the cursor color cannot be changed. Would appreciate any suggestions. Clicked on the support link but nothing there. Thanks in advance.

I typed in a sentence, hilighted it, hit the Bold button and... nothing. Tried the Italic button and... nothing. Deleted the app. You gotta have the most basic functions working.

This app used to work great. Now, whenever I am typing documents, I get input lag. The sentence shows up after I am already done typing, which is very annoying. The only way to fix it is to close and re-open the document. I am going to ask for my money back as the app doesn’t work as specified.
